Lava is a name many people know from budget phones. Fewer know that Lava International is still not listed on any stock exchange. Its unlisted shares were quoted at about ₹49 to ₹59 in July 2026, but those quotes disagree by roughly ₹10, and none of them is an exchange price.
Quick answer
- Is Lava International listed? No.
- Indicative quotes (July 2026): about ₹49 to ₹58.82, with a 52-week range of about ₹37 to ₹59.
- IPO: a draft prospectus was filed in September 2021 for about ₹1,500 crore. We found no confirmed 2026 date or price band.
- Lock-in: pre-IPO shares usually have a 6-month lock-in after listing (reported by unlisted-share sites).
Remember: an unlisted price is a dealer or platform quote. It is not an NSE or BSE price, it is not a live feed, and different sources show different numbers for the same day.
What the unlisted price looks like
| Source / item | Figure |
|---|---|
| One tracker (indicative OTC rate) | about ₹52 |
| Another page (7 July 2026) | ₹58.82 (52-week range ₹37 to ₹59) |
| Third page (14 July 2026) | ₹49 |
IPO status
Lava filed its draft red herring prospectus with SEBI in September 2021 for an IPO of about ₹1,500 crore, which reports described as a fresh issue of ₹500 crore and an offer for sale of up to 4.37 crore shares. Some reports later expected an IPO in October 2025, but we found no evidence that it happened and no announced price band.
An old DRHP does not guarantee a listing. Before relying on any “IPO soon” claim, look for a new filing or a red herring prospectus on the SEBI website.
Risks of buying unlisted shares
- You may not find a buyer when you want to sell, and quotes can be far from fair value.
- There is no exchange protection. Check the seller is genuine and that shares will reach your demat account.
- Pre-IPO shares usually face a lock-in period after listing (reports mention 6 months for pre-IPO holders).
- An IPO may be delayed, may be priced lower than the unlisted price, or may not happen at all.
What to track every quarter
- Notices on the NSE and BSE announcement pages.
- Orders of the NCLT, SEBI or other regulators, where relevant.
- The company’s latest filings and the auditor’s remarks.
- Any statement from the resolution professional or the company.
